In cooperation with the Java User Group Switzerland, a very special event will take place on November 23rd: We invite developers and all interested people to spend a whole day together contributing to free and open source projects.
You don't need any previous knowledge! We will work in groups and support everyone who has never contributed to an open source project before. Design, documentation, code: No matter what kind of contribution it is, everything and everyone is welcome!

There will be many maintainers of open source projects on site to present their projects and provide active support at any time:

  • Alf.io
The open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, meetups.
  • AssertJ
AssertJ is a Java library that provides a rich set of assertions and truly helpful error messages, improves test code readability, and is designed to be super easy to use within your favorite IDE.
  • JReleaser
JReleaser is a release automation tool. Its goal is to simplify creating releases and publishing artifacts to multiple package managers while providing customizable options.
  • JUnit
The programmer-friendly testing framework for Java and the JVM.
  • OpenJDK Mission Control
The Java (OpenJDK) tools suite for profiling and diagnostics.
  • Spring Batch Extensions
The Spring Batch Extensions project provides extension modules for Spring Batch.
