Apache Camel has been the Swiss knife of integrating heterogeneous systems for more than a decade. Let's inspect how the humpy ungulate adapts for the newest changes in the environment!
First, we'll show how to write Camel integrations in Java using Quarkus which start within a couple of milliseconds and consume just a few tens of MB RAM.
Second, we'll show how Camel with it's ability to connect to hundreds of kinds of systems can enrich the serverless architectures and event-based communication with the Knative goodies such as auto-scaling and scaling to zero.
Third, we will introduce the newest member of the family - the Camel Kafka Connector and explain how Camel can fit in the Kafka streaming scenarios.
