Living in the era of cloud and microservices, we have to rethink the way we are building software and technologies that we are using for doing that. Nowadays, going micro-service means dealing with network latency and outage, traffic control and balancing, system metrics, and stability.
Unfortunately, applying yesterday's technologies like HTTP, circuit breakers, and hiding systems complexity behind meshes like Istio does not solve today's problems. In this presentation, we are going to learn how innovative open-source technologies like RSocket will help you to avoid common pitfalls in distributed system development.
