Tune the App, not the SQL

DBA Sherlock's Adventures in Hibernate/jOOQ Land

LOCATION: St. Gallen
KEYWORDS: Technology, Tools, Open Source

AGENDA:18:00 - 19:15h: Talk incl. Q/A
Afterwards you are invited to a refreshment.

Unfortunately this talk had to be cancelled! We are very sorry about this!

SPEAKER: Sigrid Keydana   COMPANY: Trivadis

As a DBA, when you get a call for bad application performance you often end up tuning single SQL statements. How these statements are related remains a black box. However, there may be much more potential in addressing application logic. This session will show an application logic tuning use case with the JDBC/JPA frameworks jOOQ and Hibernate.
