He works for IBM since 2008 and currently hold a role as Data Scientist and Architect in the IBM Innovation Center Zurich.

There exist fully elastic application server and database management environments.
I'll use cloudfoundry and MongoDB to illustrate the advantages of such an elastic environment regarding scalability and fault tolerance (failover).

Exemplified on Cloudfoudnry, MongoDB, Liberty Profile and eXtreme Scale Distributed In-Memory Key-Value store I'll demonstrate what has to be done in order to add support to your application that it runs in such an environment and also show what it actually means on user experience.
