Spring hat sich mittlerweile als das erfolgreichste Java-Framework etabliert. Damit ergibt sich nicht mehr so sehr die Frage, ob man Spring einsetzen soll, sondern wie man am geschicktesten mit Spring umgeht.
Dieser Vortrag gibt zunächst eine Übersicht über die Möglichkeiten, die Spring bietet und zeigt dann, wie man eine Anwendung mit Hilfe von Spring aufbauen kann und so den grössten Nutzen aus Spring ziehen kann. Dabei wird vor allem auf die Entscheidungen auf architektureller Ebene eingegangen. Dazu gehören Themen wie der Aufbau der Persistenz-Schicht, der Umgang mit Data Transfer Object oder dem Domain Model.
